One effective way to help children become more confident learners is to shift their attention from their shortcomings to their strengths.
You can do that by asking your child a version of this question every day: "What is something you like about yourself?"
Here are some variations to help your child focus on different areas:
The identified strengths may not all be school-related. But you can encourage your child to apply them to school situations as they arise.
