In today's complicated world, isn't always easy to find time for serious "big talks" with your kids.
Luckily, there is a fun way to jump-start the conversations that build parent-child connections. All you need to do is watch a movie together.
Seeing a family interact on the screen can help your family think about what you do (or don't) like about the way you each relate to other family members. Watching a movie character deal with problems like divorce or drugs gives you a chance to talk with your child about your family's values.
Here are some movies to enjoy together:
Choose movies to watch with your child carefully. Be creative. If you think your child only likes comedies, try a drama every now and then. Then talk about what you've watched.
