April is National Humor Month.
To lift spirits when your child is in a sour mood, have a grim expression contest. See who can make the saddest, maddest, baddest face. Then see what you can each do to turn the other person’s frown into a grin.
Here are some other ideas for improving your child’s outlook with humor:
If you’re feeling creative, come up with your own funny stories, riddles and poems. See just how corny you can be!
