Remember the 'Power of One'

You may not have time to volunteer at school regularly. But that doesn't mean you can't volunteer to make a difference to the school and your child's education this year. All you need to do is one thing.

Look for one volunteer task you can do this year. It may be working on a school fundraiser. It may be chaperoning a field trip. It may be calling other families in the evening to invite them to school programs.

If you do one thing, and every other parent and caregiver does one thing, the school will have more than enough volunteers. Don't worry if you can't do it all. Just do one thing—and see how powerful you can be.
