This year, encourage your child to help you preserve your family's memories by making a yearbook.
Get a scrapbook or photo album. Then, collect pictures of family members taken throughout the year. Each of you should also add things that remind you of special times—a recipe, a leaf your child found on a walk, a pressed flower from a summer garden, a birthday card, etc. Encourage your child to write captions about favorite memories.
Give other family members some pages, too. Include a close-up picture of each of them. In the future, you and your children will enjoy looking at the yearbook and remembering special times together.
