Review Emergency Calling

Does your child know who to call in an emergency?

Don't wait for a crisis to find out. Program these numbers into your phone and post them where your child can see them easily:

• Police, fire and emergency responders (911).
• Family members' work phones and cell phones.
• A nearby neighbor.

Show your child how to make calls. Talk about who to call under what circumstances. Role-play situations so your child knows exactly what to do and say.
