To motivate your child to learn math facts, have some fun playing this memory game together. Get 10 index cards. On each of five cards, write a math problem (a different problem on each card). For example, 6 + 6 = __ or 3 x 2 = __.
On the other five cards, write the corresponding answers (again, one per card).
Shuffle the cards and place them face down in rows.
To play, take turns turning over two cards at a time. If the cards match (the problem and its answer), the player gets to keep the cards. If they don’t, return the cards to the face down position.
The game ends when all the cards have been taken. The player with the most matching pairs wins.
