For schoolchildren, breakfast may really be the most important meal of the day. It takes a lot of energy to concentrate in class. Studies show that eating a low-sugar breakfast helps children focus, understand and remember more, and do better on reading and math tests.
If your family's morning schedule is rushed, stock up on nutritious foods that are quick to eat and easy to fix. That way, your child can eat a healthy breakfast ... and still get to school on time.
