Does your child always run late in the morning trying to find items needed for school?
Designate a special area for your child's school materials. Have your child decorate a box to hold them. As soon as the school day is over, have your student go immediately to that box to unload.
At study time, your elementary schooler can remove anything that is needed to do assignments. Completed work (and related materials) should go back in the box. Items for the next day, such as gym shoes, should go in the box, too.
Each evening, your child can pack what’s in the box into a school bag, ready for the morning. With this routine, trying to find that book or special paper won't make your child late for school.
