Help Your Children ‘Wash Away’ Anger
When their children are squabbling, some families yell at them to stop. Others threaten punishment. But these strategies can get everyone even more angry.
Here’s a different solution. Let your children wash away their anger by washing windows. Put one child on the inside of a ground floor window. Put the other child on the outside, facing the first child. They must work on the same window at the same time.
By the time they’re done, they’ll probably be too busy laughing at each other to be angry. Laughter is a natural tension reliever.
You can also try this when you and your child are getting on each other’s nerves.
